PM Integration with Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) in SAP

Overview:

In master data processing, we can use the following functions for real estate objects:

Assign functional locations belonging to Plant Maintenance (PM)

Create and edit notifications and orders on functional location

We can create or assign notifications on the functional location from the real estate object. We can also create orders for the functional location from transaction iw31 and assign them to the real estate object. Settlement of the order can occur on real estate objects.

 Customizing:

Make the settings for functional locations in Customizing:

For the usage view: 

 Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension) → General Settings for Master Data and Contract → Assignment of Objects from Other Components → PM Integration → PM Integration: Make Settings per Object Type 

For the architectural view:

Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension) → Master Data → Architectural View → Architectural Object Type → PM Integration →  Make Settings per Architectural Object Type

In Customizing, we can define which type of maintenance notification can be created for each object type. We can also enter the transaction that is used for entering the notifications. Make settings in Customizing by choosing:

Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension) → General Settings for Master Data and Contract → Assignment of Objects from Other Components → PM Integration → Define PM Notifications per Object Type

Make the Customizing settings for the assignment of fixed assets, WBS elements, and CO orders by choosing:

Flexible Real Estate Management (Enterprise Extension) → General Settings for Master Data and Contract → Assignment of Objects from Other Components → Assign Functional Locations/Fixed Assets/Projects/CO Order

These are the very elementary settings to integrate PM with Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX).
